Frequently Asked Questions
- What is medical tourism? Generally, medical tourism is described as the rapidly-growing practice of travelling across international borders to obtain health care at affordable prices. However, we believe that it is a fabulous opportunity to combine a great vacation (discovering beautiful places all over the world) with state of the art medical services and enhancing your health and beauty at a third of the cost you would pay in your home country.
- Are the doctors and clinics of good quality? All our partner clinics have highly skilled specialists and use the newest technologies. Most specialists have experience gained from professional exchange programmes in other European countries and the USA. We only deal with the best medical service providers equivalent to the US and European standards.
- What is the quality of care? Our partner network only includes state of the art medical facilities and highly professional specialists. We do not chase for the lowest price for a medical procedure, but we ensure that the quality of services is not affected by the price.
- What about the language? Most of our partner doctors speak English language; some of specialists know more foreign languages (German, French, Russian, Italian). On your request you will be provided with personal English-speaking assistant and our English-speaking team will be at your disposal at any time while you are abroad.
- What are the risks? We cannot claim that there are no risks when undergoing any medical procedure in general. Our biggest concern is to ensure our clients medical services of the highest quality according to European and US standards, then the level of risk is no greater than at their home country.
- Will I really save a lot of money? Undoubtedly, savings is a very important part of medical tourism practice. By travelling abroad for medical treatment you can save up to 70% on total costs, including costs for medical treatment, travel, accommodation, sightseeing, etc. The amount of your savings depends on various factors – destination country, the costs of the medical treatment you need at your home country, insurance coverage, etc.
- Can I book my own travel arrangements? As part of our services we are happy to organise your travel and accommodation for you. However, you are free to organise your own arrangements though you will be responsible for ensuring that your travel coincides with any medical treatment.
- If I do not know anything about my destination country, will I be safe and how will I get around? On your request you will have a dedicated full-time guide/escort with you from airport pick up to airport drop off. This person will answer all your questions, drive you around, stay with you through the procedure and take care of you during all your stay.
- Can I take a companion? Travelling is always more enjoyable when you have company. If you decide to have your spouse, friend, relative, or loved one to accompany you on medical travel and remain with you throughout treatment and recuperation, we will make all necessary arrangements at very reasonable prices. We will try to do our best to make your stay a pleasant holiday.
- How do you stay in touch with clients? We are accessible for our client enquiries by phone and email. On your arrival if necessary we will provide you a mobile phone and/or a local SIM card to stay in touch with our representative.
- What about follow-up care after I return from my trip? We do not only plan and organise your medical trip, accompany you at every stage of your stay abroad, but also we are at your disposal for further consultations after you come back home.
